Clark County Historic Event

Clark County turns 200 years old on December 15th. 10:00 am- food trucks, tractor display, and local choir at the gazebo 11:00am- Official program begins. Welcome by Bob Thompson, President Clark County Historical Association, 1818 flag raising ceremony by local veterans and singing of the National Anthem, proclamation by Judge Troy Tucker, a historical reading by Dr. Lisa Speer, Bicentennial plaque dedication by Charlotte Jeffers, poem reading by Caryl Linton, and ending with Bicentennial cake cutting ceremony. 12:00 to 2:00pm—free cupcakes, local choir at the gazebo, and Santa will be available for selfies in the Courthouse lobby, food trucks for food/drink purchases Prize drawings throughout the morning--must be present to win!
